--Sand Castle Queen--

Its been a loooong time since I posted anything. But I've gone over 3,000 hits so thanks a lot everyone.

This is an exercise in digital painting using my wacom tablet. I used photo reference of course. Visual reference, no tracing or anything like that. I think it came out all right. Nothing special. There is a lot I could do to this but as far as I'm concerned its done. I like the unfinished look, makes it look more human. The painting style I used is very rough and sketchy which is a similar approach I use to life drawing. My biggest issue is it looks too realistic for me. I always felt that if you get too realistic to a photo than you might as well use the photo and save yourself a lot of work painting. Hope you guys like. By the way, sorry I've been so busy with college and the like. I'll try to get more work to the masses. Sorry again.
